I frequently find myself questioning what it means to identify as a woman in different times and spaces of the world.  I seek to understand and counter structural oppression produced by capitalist, colonialist, white supremacist, heterosexist, patriarchal culture.  I believe in the powers of compassion, respect, active listening, and the creative process to heal, to discover, and to connect people to themselves and each other.  In art, my deep love is dance.  I contemplate a world in which we resolve conflict through dance-offs rather than combat.  I also enjoying drawing and writing.

My parents raised me and two brothers in West Newbury, MA.  I’m an aspiring midwife, hold a BA in Psychology, and have spent the majority of my working-life providing childcare.  I feel deeply privileged in my involvement with Caroline & the Women’s Wisdom Initiative.
